B of Arts (Hons), University of Sydney, majoring in English Literature.

Relevant Work History

1980-82 Self employed in a screen printing business ‘Handprint Designs’ specialising in small runs for the advertising industry in Sydney.

1983-88 Worked for Ken Done as head of the screenprinting department. I prepared the screens and did the preview runs for the seasons’ new designs as well as trained and managed the printers.

Relevant Experience.

2000 I formed a textile group of five artists that became the Facets. We opened a gallery at Carindale Winery, Palmers Lane, Pokolbin with the aim of exhibiting art with a textile focus. We showcased many regional artists including Pamela Fitzsimons, Trudy Newman and Marie-Therese Wisniowski.

2003 The gallery closed but the group, Facets, has continued to exhibit at galleries in the vineyards and at Wollombi.
